AGRTALA, August 19 (TIWN): With the aim to help late photo Journalist Rakesh Debnath’s family, TIWN extended a helping hand by buying the first photo from the photo exhibition which is scheduled to be held at Rabindra Bhawan on Wednesday.
CM Manik Sarkar is scheduled to inaugurate the 3 day long photo exhibition which is organized in the memory of photo journalist late Rakesh Debnath at Rabindra Bhawan.
However, TIWN has already bought a picture from the exhibition and has extended a helping hand towards the family of Lt. Rakesh Debnath.
Aiming to raise helping hand towards the family of photo journalist Late Rakesh Debnath, a team of photo journalist is going to organize a photo exhibition.
The photo exhibition will continue till August 21. Altogether 40 photos will be displayed in the exhibition. Each photo priced at Rs 5000/- with the aim to raise Rs 2lakhs for late journalists family.
The exhibition has been organized to help the family of the late photo journalist Rakesh Debnath. As he left his wife and child all alone in the world, a team of photo journalist of the state has organized the programme.
The amount which they will collect after selling the pictures, they will deposit it in the bank and will make a fix account for the girl child of late Rakesh Debnath.
He was photo journalist of Bengali Daily Aajkal. He was 38 at the time of death and survived by his wife and 6 month old daughter.
Sources said that Rakesh fell ill after his meal in last night and started to vomit. But condition became serious due the cardiac arrest. The doctors declared him dead when he was shifted to AGMC hospital.
