AGARTALA, August 16 (TIWN): To fasten the media services and provide timely information, Tripura information and cultural affairs department has decided to disseminate the press releases to the news agencies and news medium through e-mail.
Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Bhanulal Saha inaugurated the new system through a mouse click in the news room at the Head Office of ICA department.
From now on the press releases to be disseminated through e-mails and no hard copy will be sent to the media houses which will save time and money both.
It is to be mentioned here that ICA Minister Bhanulal Saha recently inaugurated an Advertisement Management Software to send all kind of advertisements to the newspapers offices through e-mails.
Addressing the inaugural program, ICA minister Bhanu Lal saha said that it is a good initiative taken by the ICA department to develop the news medium. The department should be more endeavoring, he added.
Appreciating the initiatives taken by the department, Minister Bhanu lal Saha expressed joy over the introduction of the e-mail system and the earlier launched Advertisement Management Software.
He further said that, with the growing we are also growing and keeping a close pace with the digital world. Tripura is developing everyday and with the growing days the media of Tripura will also develop more.
With the introduction of the e-mail service the entire development project under the state government can be reported to the outside media which will further bring Tripura under the map of digital India, added Saha.
Appreciating the initiatives taken by the department, Secretary of ICA Department Santanu Das said the e-mail system will save time and money of the department and disseminating information will become more faster and hence the people can be reached more swiftly.
