AGARTALA, August 16 (TIWN): An inter-school sports competition is going to be organized on August 27.

The competition will include various sports including Kho-Kho, Kabadi, Swimming, Gymnastic, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Basket Ball, Hockey, Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Yoga, Judo and Athletics, informed an official.

According to the decision taken by the officials, after Block level, Sub-division level and district level, the state level competition will be organized.

However, at the district level Kho-Kho and Kabadi competition will be organized on August 27. The competition will be organized at Sabroom and Birchandramonu under South District. Besides, at Amarpur under Gomati District, Bishalgarh under Sepahijala District, Jirania under West District, Khowai, Kamal pur under Dhalai Distrcit, Kailashahar under Unakoti District and Dharmanagar under North District.  

The Yoga and Volley Ball competition will be organized on September 27 at Belonia under South District, Amarpur under Gomati District, Sonamura under Sepahijala District and at the Sadar of West District. Besides, the competition will also be organized at Khowai District, Kailashahar under Unakoti District and Dharmanagar under North District.

The Yoga competition will be organized at Ambassa under Dhalai District and Volley ball will be organized at Kamalpur on September 27.

Athletics and football competition will be organized on October 5 at Santir bazaar under South District, Udaipur under Gomati District, Bokshonagar under Seahijala District, Sadar under West District, Khowai.

Besides, a football competition will be organized at Ambassa under Dhalai District, Athletics at Kamalpur, Kailashahar under Unakoti District and Kadamtala under North District.

Further, on August 29 a state level kho-kho and kabadi competition will be organized at Bishalgarh. Swimming and Gymnastics competition will be organized at Sadar on August 21.

On September 9 and 11 foot ball competition, on September 15 Table Tennis, Basket ball competition on September 23 and hand Ball competition will be organized on September 29.

The Athletic competition will be organized on October 7 and 8.
