AGARTALA, August 15 (TIWN): Raising voice against the rampant corruption and scam in the state, BJP on Friday criticized the Left-Front Government saying that CPI-M has been on a spree to build the second party office in the secretariat.

BJP Observer Sunil Deudhor said that the decision of direct recruitment of the candidates without referring the TPSC would in future politicize the state secretariat taking the corruption rampant. The CPI-M led Government is recruiting its own people.

Further BJP Observer Sunil Deudhor criticized about the attack made by the Left-Front Government. Besides, they mentioned that the police is playing silent role in this situation.

He said where the police would have taken fare action in this regard; they are also playing silent role which is acting as fuel resulting repeated attack on them.

Besides, agitated members said that the Education Department is also running under the direction of the Left-Front Government.

Criticizing the CPI-M led Government, BJP Observer Sunil Deodhar said that the Centre is giving adequate funds to the State, but development in Tripura did not take place as it should have been.

However, the Left Front Governments take no notice of the fund allotted by the Central Government and criticize the centre.

He also criticizes the Left Front Governments alternative policies and said that those are against common people.

He warned unless CPI-M stop politics of violence and corruption in the administration, BJP would continue to fight both politically and physically for betterment of the state and for any untoward incident CPI-M Government will be held responsible.

He further mentioned that if the corruption and scams are not curbed than they will be bound to do mass protest very soon.

The uninterrupted stint in power seems to have taken a toll on the financial transparency of the Left Front administration in Tripura.

Corruption in implementation of rural development schemes continues unabated. The ruling government of Tripura eats up all the money which comes from the central government for development, he alleged.
