UDAIPUR, August 11 (TIWN): Tripura Youth Congress on Monday afternoon held a massive rally and encircled Gomoti DM office to mark their deputation for 6 charters of demands.

Hitting slogan against the rampant corruption in various parts of the state, Youth Congress placed deputation to Additional District Magistrate P.L.Chakma demanding to take a strict action to bring down the corruption and crime in the state.

As DM Sonal Goel was out of station the Youth Congress placed deputation to ADM P.L.Chakma. 

Demanding strict vigilance over the issue of Food Security Bill, Chit Fund scam, allotment for the unemployed people, MGNREGA scam and crime against women including 6 charter of demand Tripura Youth Congress on Monday placed deputation to Gomoti district ADM.

The Youth Congress is also scheduled to place deputation to Khowai DM on August 12. Beside they will also place deputation to Sepahijala DM on August 20 and to North District DM on August 21.

However, on August 22 the Youth Congress would place deputation to Unakoti District DM, on August 24 to the District Magistrate of South District and finally on August 28 to the District Magistrate of Dhalai District.

The corruption includes Food Security Bill, Chit Fund scam, and allotment for the unemployed people, MGNREGA scam and crime against women.

While addressing the conference, Choudhury said that it is expected that by September 25 a mass demonstration will be staged by the Youth Congress. During the demonstration, leaders from Delhi will also participate at the programme.

They also highlighted the pitiable condition of the government employees in the reign of the Left Front government during their conversation with the Governor.

Youth Congress president Sushanta Chowdhury, Youth Congress Leader Vicky Prasad along with other dignitaries attended the program.
