AGARTALA, August 2 (TIWN): TTAADC CEM Radha Charan Debbarma on Saturday at old council bhawan called for holistic development of ADC area to provide keen eye towards the development of various sectors including health, education, and drinking water facility in the coming days.

Speaking at the meeting TTAADC CEM Radha Charan Debbarma said that for the development of the people of the ADC areas rubber plantation would be done in 7,046 hector of land with the aim to make the people self-sufficient in the nearing days.

A total of 7000 families will be provided permanent housing for the safety and security of the people, added Debbarma.

Hearing to the discussion, CEM said along with the infrastructural growth for the Education, focus should also be done on improvement of the quality of education.

He further said that language is one of the most important identities of society and it is require to maintain your language. And with the aim to promote language, it is important to develop the kokborok language and get it recognize.

Referring the all-round development in ADC areas, the dignitaries stressed on the point that almost all the areas to be connected by black top roads while the habitations are to be connected by good measure of transportation. Initiatives to be adopted for the development of electricity connection to the areas including measures should also be adopted for providing pure drinking water facility.
