AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): TRTC motor workers union held press conference at TRTC complex hall on Friday with 11 charter of demand.

Their demand included Implementation pension benefits to the employees of TRTC as like as employees of state government with effect from1995: Removal of deprivation of promotion to Heavy vehicle drivers and other deprived employees, to arrange payment of the  arrear of 44 percent DA immediately, to arrange payment of gratuity of 180 number of employees if TRTC like other PSUs, implementation of group insurance scheme to TRTC, re-implementation of medical reimbursement and LTC, appointment or one time compensation of Rs  10 (ten) lakh in case of die-in-harness, to extend TRTC bus services on more routes  to facilitate the public of Tripura, increasement of the fleet strength by purchasing new buses and trucks, restoration of corruption free  and transport administration in TRTC with total of 11 charter of demand the TRTC motor workers union has organized this press meet at TRTC complex hall.

The union is also scheduled to give a letter to the Managing director of the union on Saturday and if further action is not taken they will move for massive protest in the coming days.

However, TRTC motor workers union Chairman Subhas Chandra Saha,   President Samar Roy, Working president Arun Kanti Ghosh, General Secretary Dipak Das along with other dignitaries remained present in the program.
