AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Unexpectedly another serious blow to the ‘corruption’ tainted CPI-M party here in Tripura, the opposition congress on Wednesday sought legal action and disqualification of CPI-M MLA as investigation unearthed the false swearing in affidavit in respect of educational qualification of CPI-M MLA and the candidate of Tripura 17-Golaghati (ST) Assembly Constituency, Keshab Debbarma.The Congress Legislative Party (CLP) and also the opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman alleged that the CPI-M MLA Keshab Debbarma stated of having passed Madhyamik Examination from Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) in 1989, but astonishingly Debbarma had sworn in affidavit in the year 2008, stated in the affidavit that he had appeared Madyamik Examination in the year 1992 under the same board.However on Wednesday seeking a legal action against Debbarma, Opposition Leader Sudip Roy Barman on Wednesday claimed, “It is crystal clear that he had sworn in false affidavit in 2013 for which his membership is liable to be cancelled as per the provision of the Act and Rules and guidelines laid down for Legislative Assembly.”Barman was talking to the newsmen on Wednesday here at the Congress Bhawan during the press conference.

However, issuing a letter and enclosing all documents against CPI-M MLA Keshab Debbarma to Election Commission of India, Chief Election Commissioner,  Opp Leader Barman demanded for legal action, disqualification  from the Tripura Legislative Assembly.

It has been unearthed that CPI-M MLA Keshab Debbarma swearing in affidavit during the year 2008 mentioned that he had appeared for Madhyamik in the year 1992 whereas interestingly Debbarma swearing in affidavit during the year 2013 mentioned that he has passed Madhaymik in the year 1989.

However, Barman unearthing the false qualification of CPI-M MLA also claimed, “While seeking an RTI it has been found that all the original documents relating to the candidates of 17-Golaghati Assembly Constituency are missing from the office of the State Public Information Officer.”

It would be wise enough to mention here that the ruling CPI-M here in Tripura had managed to keep a fake qualified MLA like Keshab Debbarma who had holding the hand of the ‘corruption’ tainted government stood tall contesting two Lok Sabha elections from Tripura.

It is also mentioned that the political masked leaders with fake educational qualification got viral in the present political scenario accor45ss the nation.

Delhi former Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar in the fake degree case and Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani for allegedly giving "false" information about her educational qualification in affidavits filed with the Election Commission and the CPI-M MLA Keshab Debbarma here in Tripura who had managed to contest the Lok Sabha election with a fake educational qualification has brought a major embarrassment to the status of the politics and let it down all across.
