AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Urging to stop the freedom fighter’s pension of a person name Satish Chandra Das who has been allegedly identified as fake freedom fighter, Bahujana Samajbadi Dal on Tuesday forwarded an application to the Secretary of Political Department.

It has been mentioned that recently it has been found that Satish Chandra Das, son of late Jamini Kumar Das who is a resident of Nidebi village of East Kumarghat under Unokati District with a fake identity as freedom fighter has been benefiting the freedom fighter’s pension for prolonged days.

Beside after collecting information regarding the allegedly fake freedom fighter person, Satish Chandra Das, the locals of Nidebi village of East Kumarghat forwarded a letter to the Secretary of Political Department. Further, the association on behalf of the locals demanded rigorous punishment for the concern individuals who has been unlawfully taking the benefits from the Freedom fighter’s pension.

The local mentioned that at present Satish who claims to be a freedom fighter is of 62-year old, approximately. This confusion of age has been confirmed by the locals when they compared the age with his cousin as he is of 65-year of age.

After they confirmed about the age of the fake freedom Satish Chandra Das, recently they came with a question that if Satish is of 62-year old than how is it possible for him to be present during the freedom fight.

The locals alleged that India is running 68-year of Independence and Satish is of 62-year which is next to impossible for him to fight for the freedom of India, because according to the locals that time Satish was not even born.
