UDAUPUR, June 22 (TIWN): In the wake of constructing a central based school at Udaipur under Gomati district, central team has visited twice for selecting a place for the construction of a school site. However, months have passed but so far no construction for school is done even after the selection of the site at Udaipur Bondowar area.

It is learned that the central team has selected a place for construction at Udaipur Bondowar area opposite to Nabodaya School.  According to our sources the place was earlier used for CRPF camp, TSR 5th Battalion also used this place for their outsourcing in times but after inspecting the central team has selected this area for the construction of the school.

Prior to around 20 days from now during the visit by the central team it was decided that the selected area will be modified soon and the construction work for the school will begin shortly, but the localites alleged that even after the visit by the team no work is under progress for the construction.

Talking to SDM Udaipur Ajit Debnath, he stated that as they have not received any official order from the central to start the construction work of the school and as a result no action is taken for the review of the area and the construction.

However, the localites stated that if the school is being inaugurated in the area it will be highly beneficial for the children’s of the area. The children’s can get the teaching of high-profile standard and can aspire their dreams for higher learning and education.

The localites further said that Education is an essential right, which permits each child to receive instruction and to blossom socially. The right to an education is vital for the economic, social and cultural development of all societies and the development of a school in the area will definitely add a milestone in the development of the district. The delaying in the construction of the schools shows the negligence from the part of the authorities stopping the growth of the area, alleged by a localite of the same area.
