BELONIA, June 22 (TIWN): Tension prevailed in North Bharat Chandranagar under Belonia Police Station after a body of 15-year-old student was found hanging from a tree on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Samar Tripura (15), student of 10th standard at Cittamara High School. Police recovered the body on Sunday morning and took it to the Belonia Hospital for the post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death.

Narrating about the incident, decease’s mother Devi Mala Tripura (40) said that on Sunday morning she had little quarrel with her son regarding study matters. She had forcefully asked the deceased to study hard without watching the television and to avoid loiter around the area.

Like any other day, on Sunday the decease’s mother went to collect woods from the forest when they found the body hanging from a tree.

The body was first discovered by the Jhumias of the area who were coming out of the forest and informed his mother.

It is suspected to be a suicide case. Police is further investigating the case to ascertain the cause of death.
