Congress party workers joined CPI-M

AGARTALA/ MOHANPUR, June 21 (TIWN): Just before the upcoming by-election in the state, recently several workers of the Congress Party have joined the CPI-M party at Mohanpur.

“Joining the CPI (M) party just before the upcoming election in the state is a significant decision taken by the workers”, said the leaders of the CPI-M party.

Recently, altogether 27 workers of 9 families of Mohanpur area have joined the ruling Government party through a meeting. Raman Deb, Rakesh Acharjee, Shubhash Debnath along with others have enthusiastically welcomed the newly joined workers in the party.

As a result, where the Left Front Government is pleased with the newly joined workers lead to make the party strong, meanwhile the loss of members of the opposition party brought stress just before the commencing of By-election in the state.

The leaders who were with the Congress party for prolonged days, left empty hand and also did not get any kind of benefits after rubbing several sandals enchanting the name of the congress party, said a newly joined workers. Left with no other options and seeing the poor condition of the Congress Party the newly joined leaders decided to join the Left Front Government, added.

Further, 80 workers of 13 families of Kalagathiya joined the CPI-M party. The newly joined workers were welcomed by Left Front Government leader Raman Deb, Rajesh Acharjee and Shubhash Debnath.
