KHOWAI, June 21 (TIWN): Acting on the decision of the HC, where the court has ordered to stop the private tuition by the school teachers, Khowai district education department has organized a workshop at khowai town hall for awareness of the Headmaster under khowai and Teliamura Sub-division to stop the era of private tuitions in the sub-division.
Recently the Tripura government welcoming the decision of the court has said that the department had already issued a notification to every school teachers to stop private tuition and the state government had already alerted the govt. school teachers, students and the guardians to restrict the private tuition practice.
327 Head Master from the khowai and Telimura Sub-division have participated in the workshop organized by the Khowai District education department.
Speaking at the workshop the officials discussed on the several measures that the government will take if any teacher is found taking private tution. Further, in the workshop it was also discussed that as it is not possible to get all the teachers in the workshop the meeting was held with the Head Master of the several school.
However, the Headmasters were asked to circulate the order among the entire school teachers and were asked to order all the teachers to stop the business of the private tuitions.
The Khowai district education department has asked all the Head Master to prepare a report after the circulation of the order to the teachers.
The officials further said that even if the parent forces the teachers, the teachers can’t take any tuition from the students.
However, Khowai district education officer Chitto Debbarma, deputy district education department officer Kajal sukla Baidya and S.R. Debbarma along with other dignitaries remained present program.
