UDAIPUR, June 16 (TIWN): From SDPO Office to Police station all the land phone lines have been disconnected by BSNL, as authorities were unable to pay the bill, report says. “I am using my own mobile phone as the land phone is not workingâ€, said SDPO Ratan Das, Udaipur.
Official numbers which are given in internet and all other places are presently in dead condition in Udaipur from around 6 months. Emergency numbers as Women Police station is also not working, as both the incoming and outgoing facilities are being cut down due to the pending bills from many months. Talking to the Women Police official, they said, “We are using a mobile phone now, which is given by the high authorities and the issue of unpaid bill is not our matter.”
Talking to the SDPO Ratan Das he said, “It’s true our office numbers are not working and we agree that it’s a problem for the common people to be connected with us.” Asking about the reason he added, “If the bill came as Rs. 2500/, we got Rs. 2000/ as per the sanctioned money. In this way the matter was went on which ended as disconnection of land phone line connection.
“We are trying our best to solve this matter as soon as possible, because due to this we are also facing so many problems, which needs to be solved first”, said Das.
