AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): On it ambitious plan Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday visited the houses of the new-members under ‘Maha Samparka Abhiyan’, who have recently enrolled with the party to strengthen the organization.
The ‘Maha Samparka Abhiyan’ has been launched at the national level. The first phase of the campaign held on June 12 in eight districts. The volunteers collected personal details of the members and explained them about the agenda of the party with an aim to strengthen the party, involving members to bring a progress to the party.
According to BJP State Secretary Tapas Majumder, altogether around 1.70 lakh has been enrolled under BJP membership. During the visit to the houses of the newly added members, the BJP workers have forwarded the “thank you letter” sent by BJP President Amit Shah.
They have further discussed about the history of the party and its various launched schemes for the betterment of the people. They also distributed a pamphlet which includes the facebook and twitter mail Ids so that the member can stay connected with the Prime Minister.
The members were also asked to fill up a form. Elaborating about the form, BJP State Secretary Majumder said that it is a kind of collecting bio-data of the member, to know the details about the enrolled members, which would help the party in future.
The programme was aimed at strengthening the party in the region and to create voters in the state. The enrolled members will be given training so that they could work for the party smoothly.
BJP State Secretary Majumder further said that the party is trying to form a bridge between the Government and the common people.
However, he said that till July 31 the interested persons can enroll their name in the party through online. The Maha Samparka Abhiyan will also continue till July 31.
