8.32 acre of land distributed among 187 beneficiaries: Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar

AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): “Aiming to make the rural population of Tripura self-reliant, the ruling government has been trying to bring the administration at the reach of the people”, said Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar in a land distribution programme at Jirania.

He further stated that the state government through various programme schedules has been coming up with various initiatives to make the rural population of the state self-reliant.

To implement the programme over the area of Jirania in a better way the administration has taken the opinion of the people.  Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar said that the ruling government is taking up various initiatives with the best opinion given by the people residing over Jirania.

The programme was presided over by old Agartala Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sabita Das. Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Ranjan Sur, Jirania Land Reformation Committee member Ajitendra Roy, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sumit Lodh, Existing committee President Durgacharan Das, BDO Krishanu De along with other were present at the programme.

During the programme, altogether 187 beneficiaries were provided with 8.32 acre of land.
