UDAIPUR, June 3 (TIWN): Negligence by hospital authority of Gomati District Hospital has led to the immense sufferings of the patient in the hospital.

In a recent incident Gomoti District Hospital suffered a power disruption for at least more than seven hours, with the patients and their families facing acute discomfort.  There was no electricity at the hospital leading the patients and their families suffer in wilderness. During the power disruption the major departments of the hospital, like OT, Child Care unit, Gynecology department, surgical ward, etc remained paralyzed.

However, such a worst condition hits the hospital regularly, alleged by a patient. Reportedly, the power cut mostly created havoc in the Child care unit of the hospital. Huge crowd of patient was noticed in front of the ICU division.

Although there is a Power generator installed in the hospital but it is left out of operation for last few months, said patient's family members.

The Patients family alleged that though the hospital building has been built after spending huge amount of money but the hospital's lack in basic necessities for the smooth running of the hospital.

It has come to our eye that the Children’s admitted in the Child Care unit were the most sufferer as the unit has completely turn into darkness and the services were left paralyzed in the unit.

It is also to be mentioned here that not the electricity condition had always been in a bad shape in the Gomoti District hospital, further it also lacks proper drinking water facilities, leading the patients and their families to buy water from outside. Beside, the infrastructure inside the hospital remained in such a worst condition as water penetrates through the roof inside the hospital room.

However a sigh of relief was witnessed among the patient and their family after power resumed in the hospital after a couple of hour.

Day after day the hospital faces such crisis and erupt numbers of problem for the patients and their family but so far no action is taken by the concerned authority to solve the problem.
