Belonia, May 2 (TIWN):19 years girl in Belonia has launched an FIR against ADC high profile leader Ramrai Bari ADC's Krishnadhan Tripura’s son David Tripura(20) in the charge of fraud in Belonia Women Police Station on the Monday evening. The name of the victim is Anek Mala Tripura, who own self came in protest for being abused by a man for long 2 years. Both IPC 376 and 402 have been registered in the name of the accused and already he is in police custody and to be appeared before the court on June 2nd.

According to the reports, David Tripura and Anek Mala Tripura were having physical relation from 2013, when she was only 17 years. But in 2013, month of October she became pregnant. David promised to marry her in a condition that if she would go through an abortion. Accordingly Anek Mala, followed his instruction due to which she had to suffer a lot from serious illness for many days. 

Anek Mala Tripura being a very young girl and parent-less used to stay with her grand mother. She could not find any other option except abortion. Moreover the boy is the son of Ramrai Bari ADC elected chairman of the ruling party and thus she was several times threatened not to bring this matter forward. But when she registered the case against David a tornado as has come in the village as this case can make the CPI-M family to pay a double, as the case was registered both with IPC 376 and IPC 402.

It is to be mentioned here when she became pregnant she was not even 18. So according to IPC 376, it will be considered as a rape case. According to the act. whoever, commits rape shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which shall not be less than seven years.Then IPC 402, which has also been added shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.

Now it will be interesting to notice how far the CPI-M party following family can save their son by showing their power in the house of law and order. Although, this is nothing new for this state. Here crimes upon women is used to swallow by the people in their tea table with morning news papers, where murders, dowry, rape are very common issues to be digested as headlines.
