KAMALPUR, MAY 28 (TIWN): in a stunning and unbelievable occurrence a customer of United Bank of India Kamalpur branch experienced a mysterious dilemma. The customer namely Rupa Datta (Deb) of Bhattacharjee para of Kamalpur subdivisional headquarter never deposited or withdrew any amount with her bank account. Still, while she went to the bank in the first week of May to check her LPG subsidy, then she mysteriously found that transaction was smoothly continued in her account.

On 07/06/2013 Rupa opened an account bearing number 0262010289061 with the United Bank of India, Kamalpur branch. She opened her account on zero balance.

After almost two years, she went to the bank in the first week of May to check if the LPG subsidy got into her account.

After she completed updating her account, she stunned to found that, transaction was on in her account from 18/06/2013 up to 28/04/2014. During the period a total of 4,120 rupees were deposited into her account in parts. On 18/06/13 100 rupees, on 09/10/13 3000 rupees, on 09/11/2013 500 rupees, on 04/12/2013 500 rupees were deposited in cash.

Again on 28/04/2014 4000 rupees were withdrawn. But during the period Rupa never got into business with the bank and she never deposited or withdrew a single paisa. When she asked the Branch Manager, he told her that, the amount were withdrawn by her as she signed for in the withdrawal slip. But she clearly denounced it and proclaimed the signature as fake. But still the bank authority stuck to their point and told Rupa to do as she wished. Now, Rupa became hopeless as what she could do to remedy the situation.
