AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pradesh Committee is all set to place a deputation with newly appointed Governor Tathagata Roy, said source. BJP has already listed the key issues in their deputation taking up corruption and scams that has rampant here in the state.

The sources in the BJP state committee said that the party would take up several burning issues of the state with the Governor Tathagata Roy. The source also said that they would also seek necessary steps against the illegal doins of the state govt. here.

Asked about the issues to be taken up in the deputation, the source said that corruptions and scams would be given priority and besides they would also raise the issue of several other wrong deeds of the state govt.

The source said that the party leaders would soon meet the Governor and would seek necessary step against the rampant corruptions and scams.

However, Governor Tathagata Roy had assumed his office on May 20 taking an oath at Raj Bhawan amidst a worry among the ruling CPI-M.

Besides, it is worthy to mention here that recently in the concluded tribal council elections BJP was distant to second position whereas its emergence had worried the CPI-M and its Left front govt. and has lead the ruling leaders to keep eye on newly appointed politician turned Governor. Tathagata Roy.

At the meantime the BJP taking the advantage of the newly set up Governor here in the state are preparing to list out several burning issues under Left regime of the state.
