'Give & Take' policy creates havoc among students of Women’s Polytechnic, guardian seeks healthy investigation

AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Women’s Polytechnic College situated at Agartala Amtali, Hapania faces several censure with the teachers allegedly playing ‘partiality’ with a section of students and making their close aide pass in the examination. A total of 117 candidates out of 140 failed in the recently concluded semester examination conducted by the college.

However alleging the filthy role of the concerned teachers in the college the guardians of the deprived students placed a deputation with the Education Minister Tapan Chakroborty on Monday seeking a healthy investigation to the case, the guardians along with the students knocking the door of Minister has drawn his attention towards the real entity of the issue, where the teachers were found to have provided notes to a section of their close aide students in exchange of hefty amount.

Chakroborty in reply to their demands had asked the guardians to take up the matter with the Controller of Examination saying that this is a matter of Tripura central university.

The guardians on Monday submitting a deputation to the Minister has alleged that the teachers of the college following the so called strategy of “Give and Take” policy has been found providing notes to some of the students who managed to offer a hefty amount in exchange.

And the rest of the students who appeared the examination and were expecting good score were made fail, fuming guardians claimed.

It is worthy to mention here that after the incident occurred at the college earlier where a total of 117 students were made fail amongst 140 who appeared for the examination, the angry students staging a protest in the college campus has broke the properties of the college.

Later the guardians along with the students had also taken the matter with the college principal, but no solution and investigation has been brought to the matter, claimed the guardians.

However, but such an alleged ‘filthy’ role of the teachers in the college has once again brought the education system down here in the state.
