AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): The condtion of the Central jail in Tripura is facing very deplorable condition during few recent days. The security system of the Jail is facing from dead lock position. The houses and barracks of the jail are not prepared yet. Despite that the bus services had also been resumed by TRTC. The authorities of the TRTC alleged that their advances are still unpaid. Therefore, before the paying of the advances, they will not continue their services. This led the authorities of the jail to continue their office hours in proper time. The prison, built by engineering Projects of India, has all sophisticated gadgets including CCTV, an automatic alarm and lighting systems, besides indoor and outdoor sports facilities. There are a library, a reading room, a vocational training centre, a 20-bed hospital for inmates, and quarters for jail officials and staff.. But despite this, after few days of the inauguration The 64-crore, state-of-the-art jail built in an area of 33 acres at Bishalgarh, faces innumerable troubles.

While, the State Government, despite of the infrastructure development, busy in scam politics. Though State Government claims that the concerned departments under their tenure are fully corruption free. But the recent data tabled on the Assembly sketched out a total vice- versa figure.  Under constant protests against the ongoing 'Scams Festival' State Govt and the ruling party CPI (M) seems to have bowed down.

Though officially Chief Minister Manik Sarkar,  State Secretary Bijan Dhar have denied any involvement of CPI(M) party and its 'Brand man' Manik Sarkar in these scams or any of the accused persons, recent activities clearly send the message that State Govt is highly concerned about all that are going on. Putting the blame on opposition and media and terming the discoveries of multirole scams in different departments as the effort of 'Imperialists' may give the ruling party and its so called 'Brand Manik' dividends in casting votes in the rural belts; But the power of truth is such that, someday it spills out spontaneously and no ruler however powerful cannot suppress truth.
