AGARTALA, March 17(TIWN): Trinamool Congress newly appointed observer, Subrata Mukherjee will arrive in Tripura on March 28 to boost the party’s strength and strategy ahead of TTAADC election and Zilla Parishad election. Trinamool State President, Surajit Dutta while addressing a press meet on Tuesday sated that, Mr. Mukherjee will arrive on March 28, in the morning and left the State on March 29.

Further describing the party’s strategy, Mr. Dutta told that, the observer will form committee and look after the development of the party. He will further construct the victory measures of the party ahead of TTAaDC election and also take final decision regarding the nomination of candidates for the party. Talking about the party’s ongoing work, Trinamool President told that the party’s work ids developing in full fledged way. With this He also admits that during earlier few days, due to some disturbances in the west Bengal Politics, activities hampers in State politics also. Because, the big heads of the party prevails in West Bengal. Mr.Dutta hoped that with the full support of Trinamool Supreme Mamata Banerjee, party will achieve the target of number one position in the 2018 Election.  It is to be mention that Mr. Mukherjee will meet everyone at State Guest house.

Mr. Dutta further said that the party would soon launch a strong movement to emerge as the main opposition party in Tripura with a target to capture power in the 2018 Assembly elections. “There is no functional opposition party except TMC in Tripura. Most of the opposition parties are moving for collective or individual favour from the government and the ruling party. Attacks are being leveled on TMC leaders and supporters alone”, he claimed. Asked about the relationship between ruling CPI (M) and other political parties in the changed political scenario since the NDA came into power at Delhi, the TMC leader said that Congress would never launch any effective and pro­people movement against the misrule of CPI (M) in Tripura due to clandestine understanding between them at the national level.

While replying the question on the joining and lefting of party, President told that while some left the party, thousands of supporters of opposition also joined the party in a large queue.
