Effect of Diarrhea again likely to create havoc in the Gandacherra sub-division

AGARTALA , March 17 (TIWN): The effect of Diarrhoea again extends its hand towards the innocent peoples of Gandacherra sub-division. With the onset of dry season, this epidemics turns to be a havoc in Tripura. According to the latest report, one child reported to be dead in Gandacherra Saptaram Roy Chowdhury Para. Other than the disease is reported in other areas like Tangrai Para, Buddhijoy Para, Rajmani Para, Hariamari Para and Natin Manu Para.

In Saptaram Roy Chowdhury Para, Tubji Rung Reang, son of Pidhya Reang had succumbed to death due to the ill effect of diarrhea. The facts behind this are that during the dry spell, people of the remote village’s faces acute scarcity of water. It is called that water is the foundation of life. And still today, all across the state, far too many people spend their entire day searching for it. In places hilly areas of the state, time lost gathering water and suffering from waterborne diseases is limiting people's true potential. Women and girls of the mentioned districts and also other rural parts of the state Tripura bear the burden of walking miles at a time to gather water from streams and ponds full of waterborne disease that is making them and their families sick.

 And also it is nothing new for the state govt. who always being back tracked from supplying drinking water to the rural Tripura and often says the state is developing fast, in terms of education, and health. Is this called the “Golden Era” that lacks the basic needs for the villagers of the state? Another point which must reflected that these tribal helmets feels scary to face undergo treatment in Government Hospitals. Inspite of that they found it preferable to receive health facility at home. As a result, the information about their disease is unknown to the administration. So, together contaminated water and lack of education is the leading cause of deaths due to water borne diseases in Tripura.
