AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): 45 bottles of illegal foreign liquor and 13 gas cylinders were seized by the 195th battalion BSF from Chotiriya market in Mohanpur, here today.

Acting on a tip-off a joint team led by Deputy Commandant of 195th battalion BSF Murlidharan, Inspector Sawyambir and excise department officials today conducted raid at Chotiriya market in Mohanpur. During the raid they seized 45 bottles of illegal foreign liquor worth Rs. 40,000 from a store room at Chotiriya market in Mohanpur. Not only illegal foreign liquor for the first time BSF also seized 13 gas cylinders from an abandoned house at Chotiriya area.

The raid stated at around 12:30 pm and continued till 2 pm. So far one has been arrested in this regard.
