UDAIPUR, March 7 (TIWN): In the continuous and one sided rule of Left Govt rule Tripura has become the hunting ground for the corrupt officials . From a simple grassroot Group D employee to the Accountant of the SDM Udaipur' s Office - all are now having the privileges of getting the MGNREGA Job cards or BPL cards for their families denying the moral values and guidelines given in the MGNREGA Act or BPL Card . What is.more interesting is the way DM Gomati being the District Programme Officer, is avoiding the massive corruption in MGNREGA Act even inside DM office complex. And as such corruption has now become official in the Golden Era of CM Manik Sarkar.

 It is learnt that due to the lack of regular monitoring of MGNREGA activities by the DM Gomati (District Programme Officer)  and govt officials are now simply ridiculing the the objectives of the MGNREGA Act and DM office inefficiency in handling such corruptions within Office Complex. According to a highly placed source after the racket of forged International Passport was unearthed, DM Gomati office as is now once again in the headlines for being the hunting ground of organized crime in MGNREGA Act .

Here is a list of the Govt employees who are enjoying MGNREGA Job cards in the families(Govt employees' details given in bracket against their names):-

1) Shyamal Kanti Bhowmik, H/O- Archana Bhowmik( a state govt employee , Health Department).

2) Kalu Nag, whose wife Sita Nag ( govt employee of Health Department )

3) Utpal Nag, S/O- Sri Ratan Nag( Govt Pensioner)

4) Mihir Lal Shil, S/O- Krishna Kr Shil (A Govt employee, Peshkar in DM Gomati's Office)

5) Soma Bhadra, W/O- Swapan Bhadra( Govt employee , Agriculture Department)

6) Sikha Dey, W/O- Himangshu Dey,  S/O- Janardhan Dey(Govt employee)

7) Dipen Dey, S/O- Adhir Dey( the Accountant of SDM Udaipur), Dipen's brother is also a TSR Jawan

8) Keshab Chandra Das, S/O- Gouranga Das, S/O- Ganesh Chandra Das( Govt employee in DM Gomati's Office )

9) Sikha Bardhan Das, W/O- Benu Ranjan Das( Habilder in Tripura Police)

10) Rinku Dey, W/O- Goutam Dey( Govt employee)

11) Laxmi Nag, W/O- Titu Nag( Govt employee, R D Department)

             It is to be mentioned here that the list came to this correspondent through an authenticated source. And all these persons holding the MGNREGA Job cards are residents under Fulkumari Panchayat. The area is with in less than 1km distance from DM Gomati's Office. It is true that DM Gomati is not issuing Job Cards as these are issued by the concerning BDOs . But till DM office can't deny  negligence in monitoring with the payment. In that it would have been easily revealed that even govt employees posted in DM office and in SDM Udaipur's Office( located in DM Gomati's Office Complex)  are availing MGNREGA Job Cards.

        There is no denying of the fact a section of ruling party leaders are putting on the BDOs to issue  MGNREGA Job cards against their puppet supporters and cadres ; no matter whether they belong to the families of the govt employees. But when Sonal Goel assumed the chair of DM Gomati people of the entire district began to expect that at least she would take some concrete steps to stop this organized corruptions. But as time progressed she couldn’t break these organized corruptions. The truth is that various rackets of corruptions are being controlled by a section of employees posted in DM office complex.           

Reacting to such incidents a top level Govt official told this correspondent over phone on  Friday night , " This govt officials who would function according to the instructions given by ruling party leaders. Naturally most officials are obeying such instructions. And once you work going against their orders, you will be made victims with malicious and vindictive intentions. ".
