Tripura Cabinet decides to fill up vacant posts under Excise department

AGARTALA, February 24 (TIWN): Tripura cabinet today decided to recruit Lower Division Clerks (LDC) under the Tripura Excise Department for at least 7 vacant posts. Besides, 21 inspectors will be recruited shortly under the Tribal welfare and the ST welfare department, cabinet decided.
The Cabinet meeting today chaired by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today also decided to appoint at least 1602 agricultural labours as Group D employees. At present there are a total of 2015 workers under the department. However out of 2015, at least 1602 will be now paid on regular scale, said Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha today.
Talking to the reporters here at the civil secretariat Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha said, the cabinet also decided to recruit five Group B Assistant employment officers.
