Khowai, February 18 (TIWN): Failing to be a reel life hero, a youth played villain’s role in real life by brutally hurting his dream girl along with her boyfriend following triangle love at Lalcherra in Khowai, last night.

The injured girl was identified as Tama Debbarma, resident of Ampura and the youth was identified as Tripal Kalai who used to stay as paying guest at Sankar Majumder’s house in Lalcherra.

Reportedly, Raju Debbarma of BBC Para has fallen in one-sided love with Tama and she refused to accept Raju as her life-partner for several times as Tama is in a relationship with Tripal Kalai, an engineer of Padmabill block.

According to a local source, Tama went to Tripal’s rented house on Tuesday afternoon to meet him. Subsequently, receiving information on her arrival at Tripal’s rented house, Raju reached there and turned red-eyed seeing Tama and Tripal together here.

At the same time, Raju threatened them to kill and left the house. After getting threat from Raju, Tama decided to stay the night with Tripal.

The incident took place while Tripal and tama were gossiping in the room; reportedly three youths including Raju covering faces with black cloths enter in the room and brutally attacked the duo with sharp cutting weapon (dao) about 8 pm, last evening.

As a result, the duo sustained severe injuries on their persons and started shouting for help. Hearing their voices, the locals rushed to the spot and recovered them with pool of blood. In the mean time, Raju and his aides escaped from the place leaving them in the room.

However, the duo was taken to Khowai hospital immediately after the incident. Sensing serious condition, the on duty doctors referred them to GBP hospital. The injured twosome is now undergoing treatment at GBP hospital.

After receiving information on the incident, a vast contingent of police from Khowai police station visited the place of occurrence and recorded the statements of the locals.

An FIR was lodged at Khowai police station against three persons including Raju Debbarma in this regard and no arrest was made so far till the last report.
