KAMALPUR, FEB. 16, (TIWN): Bimal Singha Memorial hospital named after the former Health Minister of the state, late Bimal Singha turns into a den of extreme chaos and comes under the grip of brokers. Those brokers control all the sectors from the admission of the patients to the referral and also caesarian section operation cases. But, mysteriously, the authority remains reluctant.

The Bimal Singha Memorial hospital was a dream-hospital of late Bimal Singha and in his ministerial period he turned into one of the promising hospitals of the mofussils. But after his demise, the condition started to deteriorate. Now, the hospital comes under the grip of brokers. Those brokers are so much active that, no patient can even enter the premise avoiding them. They determine whether the patient would get the bed or not, who would treat the patient and where from the patient party would buy the medicines. They even determine if the patient would be referred and if the caesarian section operation would be done here or not.

In this situation, the authority, well informed of the ongoing saga remains reluctant to remedy this.
