Tripura BJP submits memorandum to Rajnath: BJP stressed on fencing work along Tripura-Bangla border soon; Demands central forces for ADC poll; CBI probe on chit fund issue

AGARTALA, February 14 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) committee today placing a memorandum to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh laying a stress on an upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) demanded for central security forces here in Tripura.

Besides, raising the chit fund issue here in Tripura the BJP today demanded for the CBI probe.
Bringing into the notice of the Home Minister Rajnath here today in a memorandum about the deteriorating law and order situation in the state due to partisan administration run by the left front govt. here in the state the BJP today mentioned that police stations here in Tripura and the administrative machineries have been totally politicized.
In regard of the upcoming TTAADC election here in Tripura slated to be held on May, 2015, BJP in their memorandum to the Union Home Minister Rajnath mentioned that free and fare election is not possible in the existing situation unless sufficient central forces are deployed. Sideling the issue of the border wire fencing work here in Tripura, the BJP mentioned in the memorandum that the Indo-Bangla border fencing at many places including the border with Chittagong hill tract are yet to be erected. The BJP demanded for the completion of the border wire fencing soon to restrict any further untoward incidents here in Tripura created by the militant groups.
The BJP said, employees and the officers under the patronage of ruling party leaders have been looting crores of rupees out of the funds allotted to the state govt. relating to the centrally sponsored schemes. The BJP today also raised the issue of the MGNREGA scam in their memorandum.
Bringing in the unemployment issue with the HM Rajnath today the BJP mentioned that there are more than 6 lacs of registered unemployed youths in the state, and there are more or less 50,000 vacant posts, but the state govt. is not filling up those posts, alleged BJP. The memorandum placed by the BJP also mentioned that the state govt. here in Tripura violating the law has appointed 10, 000 teachers on pick and choice basis, and the High Court here in Tripura has quashed those appointments.
Besides, calling for an urgent attention of the state govt.BJP mentioned that due to the wrong policy of the state govt. the govt. employees here in Tripura are getting the lowest pay scale as compared to the other states of the country.
