AGARTALA/ KAILASAHAR, February 11 (TIWN): The Border Security Force (BSF) to send a new alignment proposal to Bangladesh BGB soon in regard of wire fencing at the Zero point under Kailsahar sub division Shilpara bordering area. The DIG level BSF-BGB flag meeting was held today at R K Ray school ground near Kailasahar District library. The main objective of the meeting was to deal with the long term demand of the villagers for the construction of wire fencing at the zero point.

The DIG level BSF-BGB flag meeting at R K Ray school ground near Kailasahar District library today brought out a positive indication to the Indian part with the BSF to send a new alignment proposal to the BGB very soon, SDM Kailasahar told to TIWN. The issue of the construction of the wire fencing at kailasahar Shilpara area along the zero point saving at least 13 families at the village has been taken up in the discussion today during the flag meeting.

 Talking to TIWN SDM Kailasahar Ajit Shukla Das said that it has been a long term demand of the Shilpara villagers to lay wire fencing at the zero point under the area, following which the concerned administration has framed an alignment earlier to lay the wire fencing saving at least 13 families residing at the Shilpara village at present. But, there were an objection from the Bangladesh counterpart. However, today during the flag meeting held at the area the BGB bringing a positive indication has asked the local administration here to frame a new alignment proposal. The BSF along with the local administration will send the proposal very soon to Bangladesh, said SDM Ajit Shukla Das.

 It is mentionable here that 380 meters along the Kailsahar Shilpara- Bangladesh has not been covered under wire fencing yet. After the meeting today the BGB, the concerned administration along with the BSF jawans today inspected the Shilpara Zero point site, where the villagers demanded to lay wire fencing soon to restrict any untoward incidents at the area.
