AGARTALA, Feb 3 (TIWN): Criticizing Budget 2026, Tripura Congress accused Modi Govt of placing a budget which would help in corruption.

According to Congress spokesperson Prabir Chakraborty, this has given an opportunity to “turn black money into white.”

He also accused that previous year’s budget promises could not be fulfilled.

The Congress leader further asked, what has Tripura received from the budget adding, nothing at all was given to Northeast India.

Congress also labeled the budget as anti-poor and anti-employment.
