AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): West Agartala Police arrested 13 persons in connection to creating disturbances recently in various places. West Agartala PS OC Rana Chatterjee said the incidents include Motorstand area's incident where a person was beaten up by some youths, and then yesterday's attack on TSR, harassment of women and assaulting her husband in City Center area etc.Chatterjee said, based on specific complaints the arrests were made and four of them have already taken into police custody. "Various cases include in their arrest. During Durga puja a man was assaulted in front of City Center. Accused of that case are here and other inicidents' accused were also apprehended," he added.

"Total 13 persons are here who are linked with these disturbances. Few were arrested yesterday and and few today. They created choas in separate incidents and after interrogations, we are producing them before the court," the OC told media. "As few are in police remand, after their remand ends, we will produce them again before the court."
