AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): A shocking incident of a husband ending his life by jumping in front of a train has rocked the Noljala area of Agartala. The incident occurred on Saturday evening near the SP Office in Sipahijala district.

According to reports, the deceased, Jamal Hossain, a daily wage earner and cattle trader, had been having marital disputes with his wife over various issues. The altercation escalated on Saturday, and in a fit of rage, Jamal Hossain jumped in front of an Agartala-bound train.

The impact of the train was severe, and Jamal Hossain's body was mutilated beyond recognition. Locals witnessed the incident and informed the police, who rushed to the scene. Jamal Hossain's family members, including his younger brother, arrived at the spot after learning about his death.

Jamal Hossain's brother alleged that his brother's wife had been physically and mentally torturing him, which led to his tragic decision. The brother holds the wife responsible for Jamal Hossain's death.
