AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has set up a task force team to detect illegal foreigners in the state as a part of the Central Govt’s instruction. Whereas CM Dr. Manik Saha said efforts are being taken to identify the illegal migrants, he also mentioned the taskforce is specially focusing toe detect people who came after December 2014 with “any cause.” “Many people misunderstand one thing. It can be remembered, people who came to India due to religious hatred, attacks in their own countries --- will be accepted in this country. They must have come within December 2014, and people who came after that will not be accepted,” said CM.

“But there is an attempt to mislead the people without telling them the fact,” said CM.

“To find out who came after 2014 --- this task force is working,” he added.

CM in another recent interview mentioned that Tripura police and security forces are working hard to find out the illegal migrants, and it’s time for deportation, whereas earlier, under the previous government, the influx went on without limits.
