AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): Patient party left in distress after their mobile phone was stolen from GB hospital on Tuesday.

The patient's party said, within 5 minutes of gap, the phone was stolen, when the patient’s wife went upstairs to provide food to her husband.

She put her phone on charge when the incident happened.

The woman was crying, begging police to immediately check CCTV footage.

The affected family is poor, and the patient is currently admitted to GB hospital ICU.

Increasing theft incidents at GB hospital have caused significant losses to many patient parties in the past few years.
