AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Agartala GRP Police arrested three Bangladeshi youth from Agartala Railway station, and seized their Bangladesh voter-ID card, Smart Phones, and Indian currency. While interrogating, three of them are changing their statements constantly, and their claims also vary from each other. Agartala Railway Satation OC-Tapas Das told media, “Each of them eneterd India in illegal ways. They said they were heading from Agartala via Kolkata to Bangalore and Chennai.” “GRP PS after interrogating would send them in court,” said the cop. The three arrested persons are --- Kamrun Nesa, resident of Dhaka, Md Ismile Hossain, and Md Nur Hossain. Both men are residents of Chattagram.
For the sake of investigation, the police officer refused to mention from where the illegal migrants entered, but three of them planned to use Kolkata to travel to Bangalore, Chennai.
“The woman said she planned to work in a parlor, whereas the men said they were about to get employment in a juice bar,” said the OC.
“We are also targeting to find who helped them to get inside. After interrogating, the brokers’ names would come out. As they are changing their statements, so it would take time,” added OC Tapas Das.
