AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): “All the recruitment processes in Tripura are at slow speed,” said a job aspirant who was one of them placing deputation to the Jail inspector on Monday over the excessive time-consuming recruitment process. A group of unemployed youths Monday gathered at the office of the Inspector of Jail, and placed a deputation, requesting him to fasten the recruitment process. The unemployed youth demanded the physical test results should be published immediately and then the writing examination should be taken.
The exam was taken in 2022 to fill up 249 posts and now it’s over 2 and half years that the recruitment has been pending without any progress.
Talking to the media, the job aspirants said, “We are 2022’s jail candidates. Our physical tests were completed in 2022 but the report was never published. If each recruitment is so sluggish, what should we do?”
“The government can alternatively give us poison. The government is ruling both at state and center but why it’s taking so long to complete the recruitment process?” he said.
“Seems like, the government is playing with us. Over ten thousand people are waiting for the exam results. We appeal to Jail Minister Santana Chakma to look after the matter,” he added.
Unemployed youths asked Tripura Govt to give them poison if it can't give them jobs.
