AGARTALA, February 6 (TIWN): Along with the rest of the political parties here in Tripura the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state wing has made its deck ready for the upcoming ADC election scheduled to be held on the month of May or the last week of April. BJP Pradesh committee has inducted incharges and supportive members into the 8 districts of the state making a division of at least 7 regions, said BJP state president Sudhindra Das Gupta.

Later talking on alliance ahead of the ADC poll Das Gupta said the BJP does not make out any way for an alliance with the regional parties of the state. “We have got a bitter experience with the so called alliance”, said Das Gupta.

Talking on the preparation of the BJP state committee for the upcoming ADC poll, Das Gupta further mentioned that as the people of the state do not keeps a hope on already vanished congress from the state, therefore the BJP here in Tripura alone can only bring an alternative to the CPI (M). Adding to that he claimed that people of the state are now coming forward to strengthen the movement of the BJP against the CPI (M) because the block level corruption and scams here in the state under the regime of the left front govt. has already bittered the common mass of the state, claimed Das Gupta. He said the BJP will make an easy sweep in this ADC election and targets all the 28 seats in the ADC areas.

“Recently the BJP has received a huge response of the ADC people during the BJP’s already started mas campaign ahead of the ADC poll”, said Das Gupta today.

Saying that the increasing rate of memberships in the BJP party can defeat the CPI (M) here in the state, Das Gupta said that the BJP is looking forward to take the figure of the membership up to 2.50 lakh by this year. Beside the recent online membership drive has received a healthy response so far, he mentioned.

However, later talking tough on the Congress’ drive to burn the effigy of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Das Gupta said that the CPI (M) and the Congress here in the state as well in other North Eastern states has jointly started their malicious campaign against the BJP. He said the remark “North East immigrants” was just a mistake and there is no need to make the dirty with it when PM Modi has already condemned it.

Asked about if the BJP is moving forward to get alliance with any regional parties of the state ahead of the ADC election, Das Gupta said that as of now BJP do not see any way for it, but if any individual from any other party wants to join the BJP then the BJP will always welcome them, he said. However it is mentionable here that recently the INPT has brought a proposal of alliance with the BJP and on the other a section of congress leaders along with the MLAs are making their way out to join the BJP ahead of the ADC poll.
