CPI (M) State committee member Sirish Bhattacharjee had breathed His last

Agartala, February 6 (TIWN): CPI (M) State Committee Member Sirish Bhattacharjee had breathed His last at the age of 73. At the sad demisal of the active member, the party had expressed their condolence message. The deceased body of Lt. Bhattacharjee had been donated to the Agartala Medical College.

Today, near about 11a.m, the veteran leader had breathed His last at Gandhigat quarter.  
He had been suffering from prolonged illness during several months. After the news of his sad demise, political leaders had rushed to his home and paid tributes to the deceased. After that the body was brought to CPI (M) party office at Melarmath. There Politbureau member and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Minister Badal Chowdhury and other leaders paid tribute to him.
After that the body was donated to Agartala Medical College where CIPM State Secretary Bijan Dhar, Spokesperson, Goutam Das, MLA Shankar Prasad Dutta, Narayan Kar and DYFI State Secretary Amal Chakraborty were present.
Sirish Bhattacharjee would remain a CPI (M) Tripura State Committee member until his death. But during his later years, he retired from active politics due to ill health.
