AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Thousands of people gathered in Melarmath area after well-known senior citizen of the locality Hari Shankar Saha’s dead body was brought to his home. Hari Shankar Saha was stabbed by a youth named Rahul Roy on 15th October centering an iPhone purchasing issue. Hari Shankar Saha was sitting in his shop when Rahul Roy came and stabbed him multiple times in his face. Rahul Roy was then beaten up by locals, and both the victim and the culprit were hospitalized. Unfortunately, Hari Shankar Saha could not survive and today he died.
His dead body was brought to his home and then it was taken to Vikekananda Gym where he has spent a lot of time of his life and met many friends. Then his body was taken to the shop where the incident took place.
Family members, relatives, neighbors, and friends bid him the last tribute with tears.
Public alleged, that the incident happened in front of police, TSR jawans and they did not do anything to save Hari Shankar Saha.
