BELONIA, Aug 5 (TIWN): BJP’s one of the uncontested winners in the upcoming Panchayat poll - Sakil Das is now absconding since police found phensedyl and marijuana from his Belonia house. Earlier another Panchayat poll candidate was found with drugs in Dhanpur village which is in Sonamura subdivision. Police now have traced a huge quantity of phensedyl from BJP Panchayat poll candidate Sakil Das’s home in Rajnagar Block's South Radhanagar, Belonia.
It can be noted here that Tripura BJP has won many seats uncontested allegedly by threatening opposition nominees and Sakil Das is one of them.
Police said, they raided his house after being informed by a secret source about the existence of drugs in his home. Local people helped the police raid the house.
A total of 10 Kilo Ganja and 297 Phensedyl bottles were seized from Sakil Das's home.
