AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): In a major road accident, at least four persons were inured after two vehicles hit each other.

The passenger auto TR 07 4230 and a Maruti car crashed on Sunday at 2.30 am in the area adjacent to Dewan Bazar, near Don Bosco School.

Tanu Mia, a 56-year-old passenger who was inside the auto, said that she was going to her home in Tarapada area in an auto after finishing shopping in Bishramganj market with her family when a speeding Maruti car rammed the auto.

The auto car overturned after being hit by a Maruti car.

Tanu Mia 56, his wife Khudeja Khatun 50 and his two granddaughters school students Rachna Akter 12 and Sumaiya Akter 15 were injured.

All the injured persons were taken to Bishramganj hospital.
