According to eyewitnesses, the robbers targeted Krishnapada Sarkar, attacking him in front of other family members. The victim suffered severe injuries to both hands in the encounter.

Despite the severity of the attack, the three robbers managed to flee the scene empty-handed.

Notably, this is not the first instance of robbery at the same location, with a previous incident reported at the woman's house.

An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
