AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): AIDSO on Monday observed revolutionary Bengali poet Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar’s death anniversary.

A floral tribute was paid to the poet in Agartala.

Ishwar Chandra Bandyopadhyay was an Indian educator and social reformer of the nineteenth century. His efforts to simplify and modernize Bengali prose were significant.
