AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Tripura Congress leaders on Monday could not visit Gandachera after suddenly police permission was cancelled. On being prevented from entering the violence affected areas in Gandachera, Congress MLA Sudip Barman said it was a politically influenced and pressurized decision. “I feel pity for you…”, said Barman to a police officer there who urged the Congress leaders to cooperate.
“During the sensitive period, Pradyot Kishore, Subal Bhowmik, Tinku Roy were allowed to visit but we even after following all guidelines could not meet the people,” Barman said.
Also watch - Sudip Barman slammed police officer, reminding him his duty.
Barman called the police officials are biased and playing partial roles against opposition.
