AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): Three employees of Tripura government electricity cell have been attacked, and assaulted by public in Kadamtala.

An FIR was lodged by a senior manager at Kadamtala PS.

According to power department employees, three employees named Parendra Natha, Kashem Jakaria, and Pritam Debnath reached a sport after being informed about the power outage but public attacked them in expression of their agitation over the powercut issues.

The injured employees were hospitalized.
