SABROOM (South Tripura), July 9 (TIWN): Police recovered medical operational equipment in the Guachnand area in Sabroom on Tuesday, which has triggered tension.

The recovery of medical equipment ahead of the Panchayat election happened due to police’s increased vigilance during this poll season.

Question raises over the purpose of such medical equipment’s storage.

Manu Bazar PS OC-Bishnupada Bhowmik, SDPO Nityananda Sarkar in a joint operation seized the equipment.

 The seized items would be worth Rs. 10 lakhs.
