AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): Scammers are looting the public funds under BJP’s ‘Double Engine’ and ‘HIRA model’. In a model village in Tripura’s Kadamtala, it was discovered that the Panchayat constructed a few meter road for three years, and the rest of the project was never done. When the villagers asked Panchayat members about the issue, the Panchayat members asked them to fix it by themselves as they did not have funds. On Sunday, local people started to fix the road as they were no longer expecting any road developmental work in their locality.

“Only a few meters of the road was constructed at the front three years and the long 8 KM road was never developed. So, we are forced to fix the road with our own efforts,” said a local who was among the locals involved in the voluntary road repair.
