Not once, but seven times in the last five years, the shop has been robbed, he alleged.

Yesterday, he closed the shop and went home at around eleven last night like other days. He came back to the shop from home around seven o'clock this morning but found the lock of the shop is broken. As soon as he entered, he saw that the store's expensive items were not in their places.

Immediately, information was given to Melaghar police station. The rushed to the spot and took note of the incident.

It is known that this shop was looted once six months ago in Sajal Choumhani area. A total of seven thefts occurred in five years.

Shopkeeper Yusuf Nabi also questioned the role of the police saying, if the police had been patrolling every day at night then these thefts would not have been organized.
